Social media platforms ‘down’ across Pakistan

In a temporary setback, internet services across Pakistan experienced disruptions on Sunday, affecting popular social media platforms such as X, Facebook, and YouTube. Reports from major cities, including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, indicated difficulties accessing these sites after 4 pm local time. Users also reported sluggish internet speeds.
The disruptions were captured by Downdetector, revealing a spike in connection outages during the incident. Similar disruptions were reported last month, pointing to intermittent challenges faced by users in the region.
