Pakistani rupee continues rally against US Dollar in interbank

KARACHI – Pakistani rupee continued its winning spree against the US dollar as the local currency advanced in third successive appreciation against the greenback on Friday.
On the last working day of the week, PKR climbed by Rs0.27 in the inter-bank market. It then settled at 281.4.

Data shared by the State Bank suggests that the local currency registered marginal gains to settle at 281.67 against the greenback.

In open market, Pakistani rupee remains largely stable against dollar on Thursday and Friday.
At the end of trading, the rupee closed at 280.8 for selling and 283.3 for buying.
