Gen Asim Munir enhances bilateral ties on official visit to Bahrain

COAS served as the Chief Guest at the 27th Raising Day of Bahrain National Guard.
In a diplomatic triumph, General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, concluded a successful two-day official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, reinforcing the strong ties between the two nations.
During his visit, General Munir engaged in high-level meetings with key Bahraini dignitaries, including H.M The King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince H.R.H Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, H.E. Field Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain Defence Forces, and H.H General Shaikh Mohammad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain National Guard.
Discussions centered on matters of mutual interest, with a focus on bilateral military and security cooperation. The Bahraini dignitaries commended the Pakistan Army’s achievements in the fight against terrorism and its unwavering commitment to regional peace and stability.
Highlighting the significance of the visit, General Munir served as the Chief Guest at the 27th Raising Day of Bahrain National Guard. He was warmly welcomed, received a Guard of Honour, and witnessed a demonstration showcasing a counter-terrorism training exercise.
Commander Bahrain National Guard expressed gratitude for Pakistan Army’s provision of highly professional training in military and counter-terrorism domains. This acknowledgment underscores the strength of the strategic partnership between the two nations.
