10-Member Sindh Cabinet to Take Oath in First Phase

Karachi: PPP leaders, including Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, convened a meeting in Islamabad to discuss and finalize the members of the provincial cabinet for Sindh.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also consulted with President Asif Ali Zardari to conclude the selection process for the cabinet members. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that approximately 10 individuals will be sworn in as part of the Sindh cabinet in the initial phase.
Among the proposed cabinet members are Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Syed Sardar Shah, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, Saeed Ghani, and others. Discussions were also held regarding the allocation of portfolios for the prospective ministers during the meeting, which was attended by PPP Women Wing President Faryal Talpur.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah assumed office on February 27, but the formation of his cabinet has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, the provincial cabinets of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have already been sworn in.

Earlier today, the federal cabinet comprising 19 members, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, took oath at the President’s House in Islamabad. President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath of office to the newly appointed federal ministers during a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad.
